Position Description

We need a rock star marketing assistant to help position Resilia as a cutting-edge leader in business solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing our core products and interacting with customers. Additionally, you will work to build trusting relationships with key partners, attend events and cultivate relationships with stakeholders. You will report directly to the Director of Marketing who will provide mentorship to your support growth in our organization and your professional career.

Responsibilities

  • Routinely update and assist in the creation of presentations and other collateral for sales, marketing and partnerships
  • Assists in creating and implementing conference and event schedules
  • Coordinates efforts and works with the Director of Marketing
  • Maintains blog and social media channels by publishing brand-centered content
  • Influencer marketing concepts and execution
  • Assists with creating and editing email marketing campaigns
  • Conduct inbound sales consultations with prospects
  • Attend local events to network and drive brand awareness
  • Develop sales, marketing and partnership opportunities through research, outreach and follow up
  • Perform basic website updates
  • Optimize SEO, keywords and metadata for online presence
  • Ideating blog topics and social media captions
  • Generating marketing campaign performance reports

Experience / Skills

  • 2+ years digital marketing experience, preferably for a mission-driven startup
  • Knowledge of the nonprofit and philanthropy sector
  • Strong knowledge of Hubspot Marketing: CRM (i.e. Salesforce) experience a plus
  • Content-focused marketer with experience managing SEO (keywords, backlink strategy, technical), SEM (Google Ads) campaigns, social media and word press
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and native social media and email marketing metrics
  • Strong communicator, including active listening and persuasive writing skills
  • Creation of blog headers, infographics and other social media graphics using simplified graphic design tools (Canva, Visme, Pablo)

  • Strong oral, communication and written skills a must; People person
  • Comfortable and confident during sales conversations
  • A strong track record for prospecting leads and closing sales (Can you turn over every stone? Can you take a “no” and not feel defeated?)
  • Quick learner, data-driven, highly inquisitive
  • Ability to handle difficult objections
  • Ability to manage multiple priority projects in a timely manner
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient with WordPress and related plugins
  • Experience developing trusted relationships with senior executives
  • Brings a lot of energy, enthusiasm and ambition to work with a strong desire to get better
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Ethical and honest approach
  • High level of emotional intelligence
